- You'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the delivery of complex programmes to bring about transformational change and ultimately growing our business.
- Responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of a change programme, effective coordination of all projects within a programme, benefits identification and realisation and management of project interdependencies. And, collaborating closely with the sponsor and stakeholders to achieve programme goals and organisational outcomes in the most collaborative ways.
- Strategic Planning and Design: develop and design the overall programme, considering its outcomes and objectives, scope, and strategic alignment
- Governance and Quality Assurance: develop governance presentations and present at Steering Board meetings as well as further governance forums
- Budget Management: monitor expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the programme progresses
- Project Coordination and Delivery: ensure timely delivery of new products or services from projects, adhering to quality, time, and budget constraints
- Risk Management: identify and manage risks that may impact the programme's successful outcome
- Stakeholder Communication: manage communications with all stakeholders, including project teams, executives, and external partners
- Business Transition and Change: collaborate with the business change manager (or equivalent) to transition to the new business-as-usual state
- Programme Reporting: regularly report programme progress to the sponsor or programme director
- A professional qualification in programme management such as Managing Successful Programmes (MSP)
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain focus and momentum
- Experience in managing complex and challenging change and interdependencies
- Excellent communicator who can deal with complex situations and be comfortable dealing with challenging questions from senior stakeholders and executives
- Be effective in engagement with stakeholders and aligning support for the programme
