- Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly of components to precise standards.
- Read and interpret general assembly drawings, schematics, and interact with 3D models.
- Use hand and power tools with accuracy and care in line with safety and quality expectations.
- Assemble components efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
- Identify and resolve mechanical issues using initiative within defined parameters.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to overcome production challenges.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Experience in mechanical fitting or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering or currently working towards completion.
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly and sub-assembly.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and 3D models.
- Confident with the use of hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
- Salary £36,482
