The successful candidate will need to undertake tasks, including, blood pressure checks, venepuncture, ECGs and basic dressings providing highest quality care for our patients.   • Performing Phlebotomy in Primary Care
  • Essential Experience in the NHS or a GP surgery
  • Experience of dealing with the public/patients Skills/Knowledge Essential Demonstrates a basic understanding of the needs of the patient and the role of the HCA
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to deal tactfully and empathetically with distressed or anxious patients
  • Ability to work within a team and on own Ability
  • Competent in health care assistant duties
  • Computer & IT skills and the use of Systm One
Desirable
  • Qualified to NVQ level 2/3
