- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures across the site.
- Conduct risk assessments and site audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Deliver training sessions to staff on health and safety practices and compliance requirements.
- Support incident investigations, ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and standards.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice on health and safety matters to all levels of the organisation.
- A recognised qualification in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
- Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of UK health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage teams.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in maintaining records and preparing detailed reports.
