Shift Process Operator – Gas storageExcellent salary on offer + generous benefits packageFarnham, HampshireMC Technical Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Process Operator to work at an onshore gas storage plant near Farnham in Hampshire. The Process Operator will be responsible for monitoring and carrying out routine operations ensuring maximum efficiency of plant and assisting the shift supervisor with daily reporting.As the Process Operator you will be responsible for:
  • Monitoring and operating a gas storage plant via SCADA
  • Routine chemical testing, inventory management and completing plant reports
  • Liaise with the engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure maximum availability of plant by fault finding and updating the CMMS
  • Following Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and colleagues
  • Keeping the plant tidy and clean, applying good housekeeping standards
To be considered for this role you should have:
  • At least 3 years experience operating a plant in a similar industry (Oil and gas, Power generation, Chemical production, or wastewater treatment)
  • Strong Health and Safety understanding for yourself and others, NEBOSH or IOSH is ideal but not essential
  • The willingness to work 12-hour shifts
  • Extensive experience with SCADA and CMMS systems
  • Ideally a relevant engineering qualification e.g NVQ/C&G/ONC is ideal but not essential
