
Cost Engineer

- Support cost control activities across projects of varying complexity.
- Develop and maintain cost forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Apply NEC contract principles in cost management and change control.
- Collaborate with project managers and commercial teams to ensure accurate cost reporting.
- Conduct data analysis to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Excel, and Visual Basic for Applications.
- Assist in the preparation of final accounts and cost close-out processes.
- Experience in cost engineering or project controls.
- Experience managing cost functions on projects with various complexities.
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
- Experience working on Sellafield or similar regulated projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA.
- Proficient in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional membership or certification (e.g., ACostE, RICS, APM, MAPM).
- Familiarity with ERP systems and project management tools.
