Contract Type: Full-time, PermanentAbout the Company A design-led luxury residential developer and contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. With a strong pipeline of bespoke developments and an expanding in-house contracting arm, the business is known for delivering premium homes across the Home Counties and for setting new standards in high-end property delivery.The Role This is a hands-on role for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor who can independently manage the full commercial lifecycle of multiple luxury residential projects — from pre-construction through to final accounts.
Working across both internal developments and client-led contracting projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of cost planning, procurement, and contract administration, ensuring commercial control and value are maintained at every stage.Key Responsibilities
- Full commercial ownership across several luxury residential projects
- Develop and manage cost plans, procurement schedules, and subcontractor packages
- Prepare valuations, assess variations, issue payment certificates, and manage final accounts
- Collaborate closely with Contracts Manager, Site Managers, and Buyer to support seamless delivery
- Negotiate terms and optimise value during subcontractor procurement
- Administer JCT contracts from start to finish
- Produce monthly CVRs and detailed commercial reporting for senior leadership
- Contribute to value engineering and, where appropriate, influence build methodology and structure
- 10+ years of quantity surveying experience, preferably in high-end residential construction
- Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying (RICS Chartered or working toward preferred)
- Structural or engineering knowledge is a strong advantage
- Capable of managing multiple projects independently, without junior support
- In-depth understanding of JCT contracts and project cashflows
- Meticulous, proactive, and confident working in a high-specification, fast-paced environment
- Based within commutable distance to Beaconsfield, with flexibility to travel to regional sites
