Due to increased demand, from October we're extending our opening hours from 6am to 10pm, offering you the flexibility of 12-hour shifts and maximum earning potential.This is a fantastic opportunity to join our team temporarily with genuine temp-to-perm opportunities available for the right candidates who demonstrate commitment and excellence.As a Warehouse Operative at ProCook, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive their orders quickly, accurately, and in perfect condition. From eCommerce order fulfillment to picking and packing, your work will help keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently during our busiest time of year.RequirementsWhat You'll Be DoingDepending on the area you're assigned to, your daily tasks may include:
- Ecommerce order picking - selecting customer orders with speed and accuracy using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
- Ecommerce packing - carefully packaging online orders to ensure safe delivery to customers
- Quality control - checking items for damage and ensuring perfect presentation
- Inventory management - stacking and sorting goods within the warehouse and preparing shipments
- Loading/unloading delivery vehicles and supporting goods-in operations
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
- Working to KPIs and deadlines while supporting your team to hit shared goals
- Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday from 8am to 8pm (or 12hrs shifts between 6am to 10pm from October until January)
- With our extended October hours (6am-10pm), 12-hour shifts are available for those wanting maximum hours and earnings.
- You MUST be able to reliably commute to our warehouse based in Gloucester GL10 3ES - public transport unreliable
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, ecommerce fulfillment or distribution environment
- Strong attention to detail for accurate order picking and packing
- Good communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
