We find the best technology, manage assets and refresh systems. With 24/7 network operations, we keep things running smoothly, while operating comprehensive network repair and maintenance to keep everything in top shape.Want to come and be a part of it?We welcome applications from across the UK. However, candidates should be prepared to commute to customer sites for meetings & LABs for testing. Contractually, you will be based at your local M Group office.What will you be doing?You'll be crafting and reviewing cutting-edge IP architectures, ensuring alignment with industry standards and customer needs.You'll drive technical leadership across teams to successfully implement IP solutions.Proactively identify and mitigate IP risks through robust security controls.Working with stakeholders to maintain adherence to IP standards.Translating business requirements into effective IP strategies through collaboration.You'll stay ahead of IP trends and continuously elevate our IP posture.Plan, test, and implement robust solutions, including hardware testing, vulnerability scans, and configuration staging.We'll need you to empower teams with training, documentation, and hands-on sessions for seamless implementation and support.Travel Ready: Be prepared to travel for testing, training, and complex implementations.You'll be assisting in gathering system performance data and sharing insights with the Security Team.What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, IP, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • You'll have at least 5 years of experience in IP, focusing on technical design, implementation, and architecture.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Familiarity with F5 and Cisco ASA security solutions is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency in IP technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, and vulnerability management.
  • Hands-on experience with integration projects involving IP technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex security challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience within technical teams.
