Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | Flexible HourProspero Teaching are working alongside Islington council to provide tuition for students beginning their GCSE’s in September on a part-time basis. These students requires support in their core subjects such as Maths, English and Science.Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver focused and engaging tuition in GCSE Maths ,English or Science tailored to individual learning needs and curriculum goals.
  • Identify areas of difficulty and develop personalised lesson plans to address learning gaps.
  • Prepare students for exams with confidence- building strategies and revision support.
  • Adapt your teaching style to suit a range of learners, including those with SEN needs.
  • Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents/carers or the wider educational team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring Maths and/or English at a GCSE level.
  • Proven ability to break down complex topics in a way that is clear , practical, and engaging.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Must have, or be willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Experience working with students with ASD (Autism).
Desired:
  • QTS or PGCE in Secondary Education or in a core subject.
