Each student has an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) in place, tailored to meet their individual needs.About the Role:As a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils to achieve academically, personally, and socially. You will work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver a curriculum that is both challenging and accessible, helping each student to reach their full potential. Your role will involve providing one-on-one and group support, assisting with lesson preparation, and fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEND, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual goals.
- Assist in the delivery of lessons and learning activities, ensuring they are adapted to meet the needs of each pupil.
- Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils are encouraged to strive towards their best.
- Support pupils in developing social skills, self-confidence, and independence, preparing them to be active and respectful members of the community.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor and review each pupil's progress.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN or similar setting is essential.
