Job Description:As an AVEVA Net Portal Developer & Specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert development, administration, configuration, and maintenance of the AVEVA Net Portal Information Management Hub.Responsibilities:
  • Actively contributing to the improved utilization of Information Management (IM) tools across projects, assets, and operations.
  • Elevating the profile of IM by advocating for its adoption from routine tasks to more strategic initiatives.
  • Identifying opportunities where Portal functionality can replace, enhance, or make redundant other existing applications.
  • Promoting a culture of data-centric management through effective and confident use of the Portal.
  • Ensuring the benefits of portal usage are realized across the entire operation, including remote facilities.
  • Recommending, designing, and implementing work process improvements.
  • Staying informed about industry-leading technology trends and applications.
  • Supporting Lessons Learned feedback actively.
  • Establishing new Project Portals and maintaining access securities and permissions.
  • Configuring and maintaining XML gateways (Links to databases).
  • Developing reports for data quality checks, including creating/editing Query Forms, Tag summary pages, etc.
  • Setting up KPIs on data delivery and quality, with diligent record-keeping for monitoring and reporting.
  • Monitoring and reporting Portal usage, identifying areas of concern or additional development/roll-out requirements.
  • Updating notification and training of users in the AVEVA Net Portal and developing/publishing training material.
  • Identifying potential development areas to advance asset integrity in both Engineering & Operations and enhance communication and information sharing with contractors.
  • Aligning and optimizing Portal data flows for timely, accurate, and consistent publishing of required information.
  • Ensuring the latest documents from 3-D, 2-D, and related tag documents are published in read-only format for approved users.
  • Assisting project teams in data handover requirements and conducting compliance verification checks.
  • Supporting designated business power users within the company.

  • BSc in Engineering or technical equivalent.
  • Significant experience in an E&P engineering environment.
  • Previous experience in E&P Information Management.
  • Proficiency in Aveva Net Portal, XML Gateways, 3D CAD (PDMS).
  • Previous experience applying Aveva Net Portal Development and Administration skills to energy projects, particularly major capital projects.
  • Experience in .NET Programming, ASP, C#, XML, SQL, SQL Server, Oracle Databases, SSRS Reporting tools, IIS.
  • Solid knowledge/experience (multiple years) of Aveva Net Portal administration in support of major projects, including supporting a Portal user community with various modules and Database/SSRS Reporting tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and MSProject).
  • Good understanding of FEED/detail design deliverables for projects.
