- Carry out installation, servicing, and breakdown repairs on commercial gas appliances and systems (e.g., boilers, heaters, burners, pipework).
- Diagnose faults, carry out testing and commissioning of gas systems, and complete remedial works as required.
- Ensure all work is compliant with current gas safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct routine PPM (planned preventative maintenance) and reactive maintenance tasks on commercial premises.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
- Complete job reports, gas safety certificates, and service documentation accurately.
- Work closely with other engineers, site managers, and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient project delivery.
- Adhere to all company health & safety procedures and maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Current and valid Commercial Gas Qualifications.
- Proven experience working as a Commercial Gas Engineer.
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of gas safety regulations, installation standards, and industry best practices.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing & Heating.
