Kingsbury Academy, part of the Thrive Education Partnership, is a specialist setting in Coventry that supports students aged 4–11 with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).We are currently seeking a Lunchtime Supervisor to join the team, helping to create a safe, structured, and inclusive environment during the midday break. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to support their well-being in a calm and nurturing school community.Working Hours:Monday to Friday
11:45am – 1:15pm (1.5 hours per day)Your Responsibilities Will Include:Supervising students in the dining hall and outdoor play areas.Supporting students with SEND to eat safely and enjoy social interaction.Encouraging positive behaviour and play in a structured and safe environment.Assisting with basic care routines where needed (e.g., feeding support).Responding calmly and supportively to any emotional or behavioural needs.We’re Looking For Someone Who:Has a patient, caring, and positive approach.Enjoys working with children and young people.Can remain calm and consistent in a busy environment.Works well as part of a team and follows safeguarding procedures.Holds a DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply for one.
