Location: Chelmsford
Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 + Fantastic Benefits!About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to oversee day-to-day business functions, including logistics, warehousing, office management, health & safety, and site facilities, for this fantastic business based near Chelmsford. With a salary of £60,000–£70,000 plus a company vehicle, this senior role requires strong experience in operations and a solid understanding of transport and logistics.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations and coordinate logistics across the business
  • Work closely with internal departments and external transport partners to ensure smooth delivery schedules
  • Take responsibility for the effective running and organisation of the warehouse
  • Lead, support, and develop the office-based team
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and champion best practices across the site
  • Manage site facilities, ensuring they remain safe, efficient, and fit for purpose
What Experience is Required
  • Strong, proven experience in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of transport and logistics, including within the EU.
  • Full UK Driving license
