This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who values open dialogue, empathy, and encouraging students to explore diverse beliefs and worldviews.Role Overview:As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering thoughtful and engaging lessons across Key Stages. You’ll help pupils explore philosophical and moral issues while developing their analytical and communication skills.Responsibilities as an RE Teacher:
- Deliver high-quality RE lessons that encourage discussion and promote respect for all beliefs.
- Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum and school values.
- Support students’ personal development and critical thinking.
- Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support departmental goals and cross-curricular learning.
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A degree in Religious Studies, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject.
- Proven experience teaching RE at UK school level.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A respectful and inclusive teaching approach.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
