We are a leading supplier of MachineryThe role provides the opportunity for a permanent position within our award-winning engineering facility where we annually spend more than £2m every year in capital investment.The RoleSetting and operating of Fanuc/Heidenhain CNC Milling Machines to produce low volume precision partsSetting up tooling and fixturing, prove out and execute part programsFollow planned operations to completion at prescribed production rates to meet customer delivery schedule in accordance with Company H&S and Quality PoliciesCollaborate with colleagues and provide training if required.The PersonExperienced in writing and editing programs and able to read and interpret engineering drawings to a high standardCompetent in setting and operating CNC machinesAble to perform initial inspections of your own/a team members’ work using a variety of measuring equipmentSound understanding of materials, modern cutting methods and engineering processesProduce high quality and accurate output with minimal error rateOpportunities for upskilling and Further EducationBenefits
