Salary: Up to £24,500.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)in London is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Medical Records Officer to join their team of staff in the Medical Records department.This is a Full time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern.Duties of this role include:
- Prepare patient records for upcoming clinics, admissions, investigations, and procedures.
- Ensure all required documentation (e.g., consent forms, test results, referral letters) is accurately filed and accessible for clinical teams.
- Maintain and update both paper and electronic records in accordance with data protection policies and hospital procedures.
- Locate and retrieve patient notes efficiently when requested by clinical, admin, or legal teams.
- Log and track movement of physical records across departments using tracking systems.
- Ensure records are returned promptly, correctly filed, and stored securely.
- Previous administrative experience, ideally in a healthcare or records-focused role.
- Good understanding of confidentiality, GDPR, and information governance.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working with IT systems and databases.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and respectful manner.
