We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking salaried GP to complement our team of GPs and staff. Ideally we are looking to cover 4-6 clinical sessions which will include extended hours. The post-holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.Main duties of the jobAs a salaried GP your main duties and responsibilities will be:-The following are the core responsibilities of the General Practitioner. There may be on occasion, a requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such as workload and staffing levels
  • Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions
  • Cover On call
  • Carry out patient consultations within the surgery
  • Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing
  • Carry out home visits where necessary
  • Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments
  • Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams#
  • All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
About usWe are based in Brierley Hill Health And Social Care Centre in the heart of Brierley Hill, Dudley. We have a practice size of 9056 patients.Our practice team includes 4 GP partners, 1 Nurses, 1 HCA, 2 PA's, 1 Midwife, 1 First Contact Physio and highly trained admin and reception teams. We have an additional clinical team that are working within the practice as part of the primary care network.
