- Perform clinical examinations of patients to assess, diagnose and monitor conditions
- Cover On call
- Carry out patient consultations within the surgery
- Monitor patients' conditions and wellbeing
- Carry out home visits where necessary
- Diagnose and treat various illnesses/ailments
- Liaise with other healthcare professionals (e.g., midwives, pharmacists, health visitors and psychiatrists) as part of multidisciplinary teams#
- All general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care.
- Qualified GP
- MRCGP
- Full GMC Registration
- National Performers List Registration
- Appropriate defence indemnity (MDU/MPS)
- Eligibility to practice in the UK
- Experience of working a primary care environment
- General understanding of GMS/PMS contract
- Experience of continued professional development
- Outstanding level of clinical knowledge and skills commensurate with that of an experienced GP
- Experience or working in Primary Care
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
- Strong IT skills
- Clear, polite telephone manner
- Flexible & cooperative
- Motivated, forward thinker
- Punctual & committed to supporting the team effort
- Competent in the use of office and outlook
