Day to Day DutiesAs a General Operative your duties will include but not be limited to:
  • Sorting various types of medical, clinical, and pharmaceutical waste and preparing these to be processed accordingly, most of which is incinerated on site
  • Loading various recycling bins
  • Processing various types of refuse as per requirements
  • Operating a FLT Counterbalance truck
  • Organize waste areas and place bins in correct areas
  • Manually sorting waste via hand
  • All PPE will be provided
  • Other duties as assigned
Essential SkillsAs a General Operative, you will need the following:
  • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Organisational skills
  • Reliability
  • Self-motivated
  • Flexible and willing take on a variety of tasks
  • Team Player
Desirable Experience
  • Working with medical, clinical and pharmaceutical waste
  • Experience operating a FLT Counterbalance Truck
Training
  • Full training on company policies and procedures will be provided by the client
