This locum position offers a hybrid working model, requiring you to be in the office at least 2 days a week, with full-time availability over a 3-month period. What you will do:
  • Complete assessments from the referral stage, thoroughly evaluating the needs of children and families within the Children with Disabilities Team.
  • Work collaboratively with children and families, addressing their needs whether they involve Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), Children Looked After (CLA), Pre-Proceedings (PLO) and Care Proceedings, or Private Proceedings.
  • Engage in complex cases involving Deprivation of Liberty within National DOL Court and the Court of Protection.
  • Coordinate and attend team meetings in person, actively contributing to group planning and decision-making.
  • Ensure high-quality reporting and documentation are completed accurately and promptly.
