- Commercial Lighting Focus: Assist with the installation of new lighting fixtures, fittings, and control systems within a commercial environment.
- Lighting Maintenance: Support routine maintenance checks, fault finding, and repair of existing lighting systems, including emergency lighting.
- Lamp & Ballast Replacement: Carry out regular replacement of lamps, ballasts, and other lighting components.
- Electrical Assistance: Work alongside qualified electricians on various electrical tasks, including power distribution, circuit testing, and general electrical upkeep.
- Fault Finding Support: Assist in diagnosing basic electrical faults under supervision, learning effective troubleshooting techniques.
- PPM Assistance: Support planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities across the site's electrical infrastructure.
- Cable Management: Assist with cable pulling, containment, and tidying of electrical installations.
- Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company procedures, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
- Documentation: Assist with basic record-keeping for maintenance tasks and material usage.
- General Support: Provide general assistance to the wider maintenance team as required, gaining exposure to other building services disciplines.
- Newly Qualified/Entry Level: A newly qualified Electrician or holding a City & Guilds Level 2 Electrical Installation qualification.
- Eager to Learn: A strong desire to develop a career in Building Services and expand your electrical and multi-skilled knowledge.
- Basic Electrical Knowledge: Foundational understanding of electrical principles and safety.
