ABC Teachers is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals to train as a Cover Supervisor and gain experience in secondary schools across Nuneaton.About the roleWhether you're a recent graduate, a teaching assistant looking to step up, or exploring a career change, this role is a great way to enter the classroom with full support and training provided.Key responsibilities:
  • Supervise pre-set lessons in the absence of the classroom teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment.
  • Support students in completing their work and maintaining focus.
  • Work across a range of subjects and year groups within local secondary schools.

RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Cover Supervisor- No experience required you will:
  • Be able to attend the in person training session in Coventry/or Lichfield
  • A passion for working with secondary-aged students.
  • Strong communication and classroom presence.
  • A willingness to learn and grow in an educational environment
  • Previous experience in a school, youth work, sports coaching or tutoring is desirable – but not essential.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK and undergo an enhanced DBS check (or be willing to apply for one).
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
