Production Materials Handler

- Daily replenishment of kit trollies and trays for each assembly line operator to ensure completion of orders
- Reactive attendance to all operators in the event of stock outs, parts required urgently, and replacement of faulty items
- Initiation of non-conforming process, liaising with the Quality department for faulty part identification and replacement process
- Identify areas for improvement in relation to process steps and deliverable methods to increase efficiency
- Working with the Materials Manager, Production Manager and CI Team, implement LEAN principals and processes
- Organize and manage physical and system-based stock locations to streamline procedures
- Involvement when required in completing and overseeing stock cycle counts and annual full stock takes
- Working closely with the Buyers to advise of low or non-stock issues, or adhoc consumable products required on the factory floor
- Liaising with the Planner to ensure timely supply of raw materials to the assembly lines in accordance with the output demand, for alternative spec machines on an adhoc basis, and to advise of any impacts which may alter the production schedule
- Evidence of experience in accurate data being recorded
- Experience in managing an area for process controls
- Previous exposure of working to set timescales, and desired results being achieved without supervision
- Ability to assess, identify and implement new ideas and solutions for efficiency gains

- Computer Literate and accurate record keeping
- Excellent timekeeping and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changes, delays or unexpected events

- Interpersonal skills and ability to work with all employees at all levels of management
