Claim Handler - Contact Centre
6-Month Contract - Possible Extension
£350 per day (Inside IR35)
Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (Flexibility Required)
Remote - UK Based Applicants OnlyMorson Talent are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for three Claim Handlers to join their busy Contact Centre team.
This is a highly sensitive and impactful role, acting as the single point of contact for applicants from the moment their claim is submitted through to resolution. You'll play a vital part in supporting applicants, building trust, and ensuring their case is handled with empathy and professionalism.Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls with applicants, providing updates and building strong relationships from day one.
  • Proactively manage your case load, ensuring applicants are kept informed throughout the process.
  • Handle sensitive and sometimes emotive conversations with tact and compassion.
  • Deal effectively with complaints, using your communication skills to defuse challenging situations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions.
About You:
We're looking for people who can connect quickly with others and maintain a professional yet personable approach at all times. You'll need to demonstrate:
  • Experience in complaint handling or customer relationship management (Financial Ombudsman, PPI, or similar experience highly beneficial).
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to engage and reassure applicants.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and high levels of empathy.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage difficult conversations.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
