As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and complete the work set. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or for those with experience in youth work, tutoring, or classroom support.Key Responsibilities:Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to students in the absence of the classroom teacherManage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure a safe, respectful environmentSupport students with their learning and answer questions as requiredReport back to teaching staff on pupil progress and classroom conductAssist with administrative and general support tasks as neededAbout You:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsConfident classroom presence and ability to manage behaviour positivelyAdaptable and able to work across a range of subjects and year groupsPrevious experience in a school or educational setting is desirable but not essentialA degree or equivalent qualification is advantageous but not requiredIn return for the above you can expect to receive:
