About the roleAs a Full-time - Teacher - SEMH School, you will be required to support the class in the delivery of lessons, whilst also providing support and guidance to the students in their variety of learning needs. Working with students with special educational needs is an extremely rewarding environment to work in, however can be challenging getting to know the needs of students and therefore this role benefits from consistency and continuity. Ideally for this role you will have had experience working with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs of children or young adults, ASD, ADHD and moderate learning difficulties.About the schoolVision for education currently work with a school in the Bristol area, that cater for needs including but not limited to SEMH, ASC, ADHD, MLD and EBD. The school caters for children in primary years all the way through to secondary (KS3 – KS4).RequirementsTo be considered for the role of Full-time - Teacher - SEMH School you will:
  • • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Primary or Secondary subject specialism
  • • Experience working with children with a variety of SEND/ SEMH needs
  • • Have previous experience within a similar specialist setting or strong transferable experience from a mainstream setting
  • • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of SENH Teachers and LSA’s
  • • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons
