Join a Leading Organisation in the Nuclear Industry.Role Details:Join a dynamic engineering team delivering high-impact solutions in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. We’re seeking a proactive Mechanical/Piping Design Lead to manage and drive detailed engineering output from concept through to commissioning.Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the design team across mechanical/piping disciplines.
  • Manage detailed deliverables including ISOs, 3D models, fabrication drawings, BOMs.
  • Ensure design quality, compliance, and technical integrity within budget and schedule.
  • Conduct site surveys, design reviews, and document control.
  • Support procurement, commissioning, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
  • ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); IOSH and CompEx desirable.
  • 5+ years’ experience in industrial/compliance-driven environments.
  • Must have previous Industrial Manufacturing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ATEX, PED, CDM, pipework stress and routing.
  • Advanced CAD and 3D modelling proficiency.
