- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients by upholding robust safeguarding practices and protecting their human rights at all times.
- Undertake comprehensive psychological assessments, clinical formulations, and interventions, including specialist neuropsychological assessments, for individuals with acquired brain injury.
- Deliver evidence-based individual and group therapeutic interventions aimed at reducing psychological distress and improving functional outcomes.
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of psychological interventions to ensure continuous improvement and positive impact on recovery.
- Provide clinical guidance and supervision to support colleagues in delivering evidence-based psychological interventions.
- Take proactive responsibility for maintaining security procedures and continuously assessing and managing clinical risks.
- Maintain registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist, including active engagement in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and uphold competence in administering psychological and risk assessments.
- Foster positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues, families, carers, and external visitors, promoting a respectful and inclusive environment.
- HCPC registration
- Significant post-qualification experience working in neuropsychology or neurorehabilitation settings.
- Skilled in a range of therapeutic approaches relevant to brain injury (e.g. CBT, ACT, systemic approaches).
- Confident working autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Passionate about delivering person-centred, values-based care.
- Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
