Job summaryThe helicopter B1.3 Engineer is responsible for the maintenance (line/base) of the helicopters. They work in a team of engineers and report to the Maintenance Lead.Main ResponsibilitiesLine MaintenanceComply with the requirements as described in the regulations;Ensure that all line maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the UK CAA and M.O.E. instructions;Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity;Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of a serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;Ensure, based on pilot & all other relevant information, daily problem analysis & problem solving;Ensure briefing & debriefing of pilots and Maintenance Lead;Ensure that PRF (preflight check) is performed;Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & support services that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on site at the planned moment: material in service car, consumables, limited service stock, work material, material needed for normal day-to-day line maintenance, exceptional material supplied for exceptional line maintenance or small repair tasks;Report daily on the maintenance situation to the Maintenance Lead.Base MaintenanceComply with the requirements as described in the regulations;Ensure that all maintenance tasks carried out to helicopters meet the standard of the UK CAA and M.O.E. instructions;Ensure, together with all Engineers, a variable & flexible work planning & work roster based on business needs that supports & realizes business continuity;Ensure that all maintenance is completed within the appropriate time scales to ensure provision of serviceable aircraft to meet the operational need;Ensure briefing & debriefing of the Maintenance Lead; Report daily on the maintenance situation; Inform and update the Maintenance Lead on the maintenance situation;Ensure, in cooperation with NHV Supply Chain, Store & support services that the necessary maintenance material & spare parts are present on site at the planned moment.Participate in the daily morning briefing (toolbox meeting).Skills & ExperienceUK CAA Part 66 B1.3 LicenseExtensive relevant experience in aviation and as a licensed engineer is preferredEngineering experience in different aviation companies is a plusICT literate (specific aviation software & MS Office)Languages: English (professional level)Knows & operates by the procedure and processes (operational, quality, safety …) installed by the companyGood communicator:debriefing to pilots, flight crew and Maintenance Leadhandover of work from/to previous/next shiftAble to work independently when performing in a less controlled environment and to take initiative to improve work and complete tasks within appropriate time scalesLogic thinkingWhat we offerYou'll be welcomed in a young and exciting company.
