Support a Key Stage 2 Pupil with an EHCP and Social & Emotional Needs
Start Date: September 2025 | OFSTED Outstanding Primary SchoolWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our partner primary school in Haslington from September 2025.This is a full-time, term-time only role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm, supporting a child in Key Stage 2 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and social and emotional needs.About the Role:
- Provide one-to-one support to a Key Stage 2 child with additional needs
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Adapt learning activities to meet the child's individual needs
- Support the child both in class and during unstructured times as needed
- Help foster a positive and inclusive primary school environment
- Has experience supporting children with social, emotional or behavioural needs (desirable but not essential)
- Is caring, patient, and consistent
- Communicates effectively with children and staff
- Can adapt to different situations and learning styles
- Location: Haslington, Cheshire
- Start Date: 3rd September 2025
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
- Contract: Full Time, Term Time Only
