- Deliver inspirational teaching across various programmes to learners of all ages and abilities
- Create and maintain comprehensive teaching materials and electronic resources
- Prepare schemes of work and assessment in line with awarding body requirements
- Integrate Maths & English into vocational curriculum alongside colleagues
- Act as course tutor, supporting learners to achieve their individual targets
- Track student progress and maintain detailed records
- Provide regular feedback to students, parents/guardians, and employers
- Coordinate and support work placement programmes
- Assist with student recruitment and admission processes
- Represent the college at internal and external promotional events
- Contribute to marketing and publicity materials
- Build and maintain industry links with construction professionals
- Engage in continuous professional development within your specialist area
- Work collaboratively with awarding body representatives
- Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Construction (Bricklaying qualifications highly desirable)
- GCSE Grade C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
- Substantial, recent industrial experience in Bricklaying or Construction Maintenance
- Proven ability to work with people of varying ages and abilities
- Current Health & Safety knowledge for the construction industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organisational abilities with deadline management skills
- High-level IT skills for creating teaching resources
