We're looking for a full-time Special Needs Teacher to lead a class of students with complex needs (Autism & ADHD) at a brilliant specialist school in Oldham.๐Ÿ“… Start: ASAP in September 2025
๐Ÿ•˜ Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm
๐Ÿ’ผ Contract: Long-term, potential to go permanent
๐Ÿ’ท Pay: ยฃ160-ยฃ230/day DOE (Paid PAYE only, no umbrella companies!)

  • Teaching a small group of students aged 11-16 with Autism, ADHD & sensory needs
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Supporting emotional regulation, communication & independence
  • Collaborating with support staff, therapists, families & external agencies
  • Using positive behaviour support strategies
  • Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP reviews
  • Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times

What You'll Need
  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • CV with 10-year work history
  • Right to Work, ID & proof of address
  • DBS on Update Service (or willing to get one)
  • Professional references covering the last 2 years
  • Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
  • Experience teaching children with SEN
  • Positivity, reliability, empathy & dedication
