We're looking for a full-time Special Needs Teacher to lead a class of students with complex needs (Autism & ADHD) at a brilliant specialist school in Oldham.๐ Start: ASAP in September 2025
๐ Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm
๐ผ Contract: Long-term, potential to go permanent
๐ท Pay: ยฃ160-ยฃ230/day DOE (Paid PAYE only, no umbrella companies!)

- Teaching a small group of students aged 11-16 with Autism, ADHD & sensory needs
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Supporting emotional regulation, communication & independence
- Collaborating with support staff, therapists, families & external agencies
- Using positive behaviour support strategies
- Monitoring progress and contributing to EHCP reviews
- Ensuring safeguarding policies are followed at all times
- Part of a Multi Academy Trust, supporting students aged 11 to 19 with complex needs
- Small class sizes with high staff-to-pupil ratios
- Specialist facilities including sensory rooms, therapy spaces & life skills areas
- Strong focus on personalised learning, emotional wellbeing & independence
- Staff are valued, supported and encouraged to grow professionally
- Emphasis on relationships, respect & preparing students for adulthood
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- CV with 10-year work history
- Right to Work, ID & proof of address
- DBS on Update Service (or willing to get one)
- Professional references covering the last 2 years
- Overseas Police Check (if applicable)
- Experience teaching children with SEN
