Genus is seeking a dynamic and experienced Farm Consultancy Team Leader to oversee our North region consultancy team. This is a unique opportunity to combine leadership, mentoring, and hands-on consultancy work in a role that directly supports the success of farming businesses across the region.You’ll be responsible for guiding a team of consultants, driving performance, and delivering top-tier advisory services to clients. You Will:Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations of the North consultancy teamProvide line management, goal setting, and performance reviews for junior and mid-level consultantsMentor and coach team members through on-farm guidance and skills development * Drive team performance to meet sales, delivery, and quality targetsCollaborate with other Team Leaders and the Head of Farm Consultancy to align strategies and share best practices Requirements:Proven experience in agricultural consultancy or farm advisory servicesStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent planning, communication, and relationship-building abilitiesCommercial awareness and a results-driven mindsetExperience mentoring professionals in both technical and business development areasAnalytical thinking and a proactive approach to process improvementA degree in agriculture is desirable but not essentialFull driving licence required Business Overview:Who are we?Promar International is part of the Genus PLC group of companies and is a leading provider of consulting services to farmers, agricultural businesses and food supply chains.
