Randstad Education is seeking a talented and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex educational needs. Job description
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to children with complex needs.
  • Assist in creating and delivering tailored learning plans.
  • Support the classroom teacher with lesson planning and behaviour management.
  • Help with personal care and mobility where required.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and support needs.
  • Attend relevant training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • You have an Enhanced DBS check on the updated service or are willing to apply for one.
  • You possess a minimum of 6 months of experience working in UK schools.
  • You have experience working with children with complex educational needs (preferred).
  • You are able to commit to working long-term/full-time.
  • You are ideally available for 5 days a week (Monday-Friday).
  • You can provide professional references from your recent employers.
  • You are eligible to work in the UK (ETW).
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
  • You are a team player and are able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
