United Response is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join our supported living services in Exeter. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including Deaf individuals, both in their homes and in the local community.As a national disability charity, our mission is to ensure the people we support live fulfilling, independent lives. We deliver person-centred, empowering care that helps each individual achieve their goals and aspirations.What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of the service
- Providing direct, hands-on support to the people we support
- Supervising staff, managing rotas, and overseeing support plans
- Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance are maintained
- Confidence in mentoring and supporting team members
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- IT literacy and ability to manage administrative tasks
- A full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and occasional sleep-ins
- Experience supporting Deaf people, or a willingness to learn sign language, is highly valued
- 20 days’ paid annual leave plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata for part time) – increasing with service
