Location: Smethwick Start Date: September 2025 Position: Full-time (Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm) Pay: From £89 per day We are currently seeking a caring and committed Primary school Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a wide range of SEN. This is a full time role with the potential to go permanent with the school. Key Responsibilities: • Provide personalised support for pupils with SEN including Autism and ADHD • Assist in implementing and reviewing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) • Support pupils' emotional, social, and learning development • Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff • Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Requirements: • School or nursery experience is essential • Experience working with children with SEN is essential • Calm, caring, and resilient approach • Strong communication and teamworking skills • Valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dedicated team making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs.
