They deliver unmatched quality at competitive rates.They are currently seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer, qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEX, with at least 5 years’ experience in residential property law. The successful candidate will manage residential property transactions from instruction to completion, providing high-quality legal advice and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and lender requirements.Are you the right person for the job?
  • Fully qualified as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX) with current valid practising status
Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential conveyancing
  • Strong knowledge of residential property law and practical conveyancing procedures, including freehold and leasehold interests
  • Experience with commercial property is desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to manage a diverse workload independently
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly
  • Proficiency with conveyancing case management software and legal research tools
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
  • Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
  • High level of professional integrity and commitment to confidentiality
What will your role look like?
  • Handle a full range of residential conveyancing transactions, including sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
  • Act as principal fee earner for all matters allocated, managing cases efficiently and effectively
  • Carry out legal research, draft and review contracts, leases, and related documents
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other professional bodies
  • Ensure all transactions comply with relevant legislation, regulatory bodies (e.g., CLC, SRA), and internal policies
  • Provide clear and accurate advice to clients on legal and financial aspects of property transactions
  • Identify risks and resolve issues arising during conveyancing processes
  • Maintain meticulous case management and meet deadlines while ensuring attention to detail
  • Support junior team members and contribute to team objectives
