- Work alongside experienced Maths educators and benefit from professional mentoring.
- Build essential skills and knowledge to prepare for PGCE, School Direct, QTS, or teacher apprenticeship pathways.
- Providing targeted support in Mathematics, both in-class and through small group or one-to-one sessions.
- Assisting with lesson planning and delivery, with opportunities to lead parts of lessons as your confidence develops.
- Helping students strengthen numeracy, problem-solving, and revision skills, especially for GCSE and A-Level exams.
- Creating a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and academic success.
- Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams to ensure all students achieve their potential.
- Academically strong, with a 2:1 or above in Mathematics or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Physics, Economics).
- Confident in their subject knowledge and able to support KS3 and KS4 students (experience at KS5 is a bonus).
- Passionate about education and eager to start a career in teaching through this Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant role.
- Excellent communicators with a proactive, flexible, and professional approach.
- Previous experience working with young people (tutoring, mentoring, volunteering) is highly desirable but not essential.
