The Fife Rheumatology service is undertaking a transformational change programme to refocus its service delivery to ensure patient focused effective and efficient care. A key role within this redesign is the Multidisciplinary team lead who will:
  • Provide strategic leadership, and support to the Rheumatology Multidisciplinary Team in the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Provide high level clinical expertise in the management of a caseload, providing clinic-based assessments and therapeutic interventions for the above patient group.
  • Provide clinical coordination for the multidisciplinary delivery of therapeutic services, maximising the MDT team capacity in meeting demands by Rheumatology patients across Health and Social Care.
  • Act as Service lead representative for the Fife Rheumatology Service in all developments relating to therapeutic work for patients
The successful applicant will be:
  • A Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional with significant post-registration experience and management experience with evidence of specialist knowledge and understanding of the bio-psychosocial model of care in the management of Rheumatology conditions
  • Significant management experience working in a MDT along with experience of service development
