Prospero Teaching are currently seeking a highly motivated Nursery Assistant to join our supply team in Southampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children aged between 6 months and 4 years old.Responsibilities:

Assist in the planning and delivery of daily activities, including creative play, reading, and outdoor activities
Ensure the safety and welfare of the children at all times
Develop positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Support the key worker in maintaining accurate records of children's development and progress
Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and other relevant meetings as required
Maintain a clean, tidy, and child-friendly environment

Requirements:

Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude towards working with children and their families
A commitment to continuing professional development

To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
