Job Category: DistributionJob Description:This role plays a key part in supporting the smooth running of our logistics operation and carries out a range of administrative duties to ensure we are compliant comply with business practices and legislation. To enable our teams to meet both our compliance reporting requirements and departmental targets so we can provide a remarkable service to our customers.This is a permanent opportunity and will follow the Week 2 Nights rota, the hours are 18:00pm to 6:00am. The salary for this position is £26,226.20NB: You will be required to upload an updated copy of your CV to your application. Selected candidates will then be invited to Face-to-Face Interview & a practical assessment on site.What you'll doYour key accountabilities will include
  • Complete the administration processes to the required company standards. Providing clear handovers with the oncoming Administrator to ensure all the key information is reviewed and a detailed transition undertaken
  • Complete reports accurately and on time to ensure the correct information is received by Business Partners and Managers
  • Complete Carrier/ Freight administration in line with business requirements
  • Maintaining all Data, Documents, Logs and conduct Data analysis as needed
  • Ensuring activities are carried out Safely, in compliance with Risk Assessments, Legal Responsibilities and Safe Working Practices. Raising issues as required
Who you areYour skills and experience will include
  • Strong administration skills, highly organised with a meticulous dedication to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Business Applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams, One Drive etc)
  • A confident communicator who is comfortable working with different internal business partners from various departments
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and collaborating with others
  • An awareness of JDA Red Prairie, Yard Management and knowledge of XDPR would be helpful but is not crucial as training will be provided to the successful candidate
