DarlingtonUtilities£Up to £50,000A Leading Cost Consultancy is looking for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team based in the North East.The main objective of the role is to deliver strategic commercial support services for a variety of blue chip clients across the North East.You will:
  • Understand and identify the client's key strategic requirements for assigned projects.
  • Develop project-specific contracting strategies and vendor engagement plans.
  • Work with procurement teams to assist in setting the prequalification process criteria.
  • Negotiation of contract with subcontractors.
  • Post contract commercial management, managing live project costs.
  • Monitoring, variation management and payment of subcontract packages.
  • Monthly cost and End Life Forecasting and reporting.

You will then be trained on which parts of the contract you can negotiate on.Candidate RequirementsOur client is looking for Quantity Surveyors looking for a career move.
