This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in the classroom, whether you're a graduate considering a career in teaching, an experienced education professional, or someone with strong behaviour management skills looking for flexible work.As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising students in the absence of the regular class teacher
- Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring a constructive learning environment
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a safe, respectful space
- Assisting with any administrative tasks related to the cover lessons
- Experience working with secondary-aged students (desirable but not essential)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- A positive and proactive attitude
- A degree or equivalent is preferred but not required
- A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one
- Flexible work to suit your schedule
