- Commercial Contracts:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts, including software licensing agreements, service agreements, and partnership agreements.
- Ensure that contracts are in compliance with legal requirements and adequately protect the company's interests.
- Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contractual rights and obligations.
- Legal Compliance:
- Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations impacting the company, including data protection and intellectual property laws.
- Advise the business on legal risks and compliance issues.
- Helping the General Counsel to implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance across the organisation.
- Employment Law:
- Assist with employment-related matters, including employment contracts, terminations, and workplace policies.
- Provide support to HR on employment law issues, including discrimination, harassment, and employee relations matters.
- Risk Management:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to assess potential liabilities and provide recommendations for risk mitigation.
- Assist the General Counsel with any legal disputes and claims.
- Qualified solicitor in the UK with at least 2* years PQE.
- Trained in private practice at a well-regarded law firm.
- Strong experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
- Familiarity with technology-related legal issues, including data protection and intellectual property.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in employment law is a bonus.
