- Technical Engineer position dealing with the installation, servicing and maintenance of a range of aluminium systems
- Offering front line technical support to customers, installers and internal staff
- Provide AutoCAD drawings for projects and products
- Carry out wind loading and thermal calculations when required
- Carry out role, keep files and records according to our ISO9000 procedures and good practice
- Production of manual page updates and technical bulletins when required
- Production and delivery of training for in-house colleagues and external stakeholders
- Carry out site visits and production of detailed reports and solutions for second-level support requests
- Organisation and supervision of product manufacture for in-house and external testing
- Must have engineering / design experience within the aluminium systems market sector
- Experience with any of the relevant aluminium system houses
- Must have AutoCAD experience
- Sound understanding of technical calculations (bend, stress, deflection etc)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Full UK driving license
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent planning, organisation, time management skills
