Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a reliable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to support secondary schools across Hartlepool, starting September 2025.
This opportunity is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators seeking classroom experience without the responsibilities of lesson planning or marking.About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure students remain on task with the work set by teaching staff.
- Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
- Provide support and guidance to students where necessary.
- Collaborate with staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with young people (preferred but not essential)
- Confidence managing classroom behaviour
- Flexibility, reliability, and strong communication skills
- A proactive and professional approach to supporting students
- A genuine interest in education and helping young people succeed
- Competitive Weekly Pay – Paid directly via PAYE (£90–£110 per day, depending on experience)
