Matthew StoneLearning Support Assistant - Term time only.G3 9-12 £25,668 - £26,808 pro rata.Actual salary £16,843- £17,59227.5 hrs per weekWe are looking to recruit an experienced, highly skilled, committed and motivated individual offering 1:1 support for pupils with moderate or severe learning and developmental needs. The role may also involve leading interventions with small groups and/or supporting in class.Ideally, you will have recent school experience of working with young pupils with specific additional needs; but more importantly you will be willing to learn, use your initiative, engage with school staff and parents and uphold the Christian ethos of the school.You will need to be confident that you can establish firm boundaries and routines, promote positive behaviour and inclusion. An excellent work ethic is a priority.About youWe are looking for a learning support assistant who has:
  • NVQ L2 or L3 (essential)
  • Excellent verbal and written literacy skills
  • High expectations, creativity and flair
  • Dedication and energy
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability and desire to work as part of a team.
