£46,142About the Housing Lawyer position:Sellick Partnership is thrilled to be supporting a Local Authority in Essex with recruitment for a permanent Housing Lawyer.This is a full-time opportunity, which would be well suited to a lawyer with substantial experience in housing disrepair litigation.This is a hybrid working role, with office attendance required twice per week, and court attendance required as needed.Responsibilities of the Housing Lawyer:The successful housing lawyer will be responsible for undertaking ownership of a varied and demanding caseload to include;

A particular focus on disrepair cases, dealing with cases from pre-litigation through to conclusion of litigation
Possession proceedings
Closure orders
Enforcement actions

Experience required for the Housing Lawyer:

A strong understanding of the pre-action protocol for housing conditions claims and the litigation process is essential
Qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive
