Our client, a leading institution in higher education, is seeking two Warehouse Operatives to support their operational team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient handling of goods and materials across the college's campuses.Key Responsibilities:Accept all deliveries and check that they match the order in quantity and condition.
- Ensure all packages are correctly documented and provide clear signatures upon receipt.
- Accurately pick and issue stock according to the Inventory Management policy and assist with stock takes.
- Deliver goods to designated locations and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Immediately report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or delivery queries to the Hub Team Leader.
- Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety policies.
- Undertake administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, replying to emails and data entry
- Proven experience in a similar role within a busy environment.
- Familiarity with operational procedures for receiving goods and health & safety regulations.
- Experience with specialised equipment and systems relevant to goods handling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good MS Office skills
- Excellent attention to detail with good numeracy and literacy.
- Effective organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems.
